The Three Pillars of Care
01. Gentle Cleansing
Regular dust removal is essential. Use a soft, dry cloth for daily maintenance or a damp cloth for deeper stains. Avoid harsh chemicals that strip natural oils.

02. Deep Nourishment
Conditioning keeps the leather supple and prevents cracking. We recommend a high-quality leather balm every 3-6 months depending on usage.

03. Proper Archival
How you store your pieces is as important as how you use them. Leather needs to breathe to prevent mold and maintain its structural shape.

The Winter Protection
Salt and snow are the greatest enemies of fine leather. Prepare your footwear and bags for the colder months with our water-repellent beeswax sealant.
Salt Removal
Use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1) to gently dab away white stains immediately.
Heat Warning
Never dry wet leather near a radiator. It will pull out natural moisture and cause brittle fibers.

For daily-use items like wallets or handbags, every 3 months. For occasional items like weekenders, twice a year is sufficient. Always observe the leather—if it feels dry or stiff, it's time.
What if my bag gets wet? expand_more
Wipe away excess water with a soft cloth and stuff the interior with acid-free tissue paper to help it keep its shape. Let it dry naturally in a cool, ventilated area.
Are your leathers waterproof? expand_more
Melody leathers are natural and water-resistant to a degree, but not waterproof. We recommend applying a protective spray if you live in particularly rainy climates.

Today, we continue that legacy, sourcing the finest full-grain hides from Tuscan tanneries and employing techniques passed down through three generations of master leatherworkers.
